‘Burnt Tree’ is a comedy drama in thirty-minute episodes. It is also a fable about growing up and finding your place in a world that is a bizarre mix of the fantastic and the mundane. Set in the forbidding but beautiful Cornish landscape, and featuring bizarre and mysterious characters, the series concept could be described as a West Country ‘League of Gentlemen’ for children.
